Just wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to all my Marine Corps brothers. Although I am not trekking it through the sands with you, my thoughts are.

For those of you that may be unfamiliar with the history of the Marine Corps (or what they are all about) check out the excellent Wikipedia entry on this ‘extra special’ branch of the military.

On Wednesday October 15th, Tonie and I went to see Stephen King at the Memorial Church in Harvard Square. He was there with four other authors to promote the release of the latest volume from the Best American Series, Best American Stories 2007.

At the beginning of this year, we purchased a new home. It was a dream come true. Now ten months later, I have come to realize that homeowner’s need a vehicle that has the capacity to haul large pieces of lumber, drywall, etc.
So, I am selling my car.
